Karavan
Karavan was the low-voltage contractor for Assa Abloy’s manufacturing facilities in Denison TX. The project included the cable pulling, termination and testing of 850 cable runs, 51 Wireless Access Point (WAP) installations, 7,000 ft of fiber optics cable pulling termination and testing, cabinet assembly and Cisco equipment installation.

Karavan is a nation-wide low voltage subcontractor for US Foods national Wireless Access Point (WAP) Refresh Project. This includes the installation of over 200,000 ft of fiber optics networks, 600,000 ft of CAT6A cabling, 2,600 Wireless Access Point (WAP) installations, 180 IT cabinet assembly and equipment installation, and cutover support, all done in warehouse, cooler and sub-zero freezer environments.

Karavan was part of a datacenter buildout team for one of the largest datacenters in the world in Memphis TN. Karavan’s team of 55 fiber technicians provided rack assembly, equipment staging, equipment rack and stack, and fiber patching and testing for a 3-month engagement.
PROVIDED RACK ASSEMBLY
Karavan was responsible for delivering the Wireless Access Point (WAP) Refresh Project and Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton GA. This included the installation of 250 WAP's in 7 hospital buildings during normal hospital operations and with minimal interruption to the hospital operations.
